Course Offerings

EMT-Basic - The course will cover patient assessment, patient care, use of equipment, medical conditions, traumatic injuries, and the emergency medical system. Upon successful completion of this course students will be eligible to sit for the Missouri practical and the National Registry written exam.

Anatomy & Physiology - This course has been developed to meet the needs of RespondRight EMS Academy’s Paramedic program and the interests of trained EMS workers, covering appropriate A&P as well as specific clinical applications. It will enable the students to develop their problem solving skills, build a foundation of basic concepts and essential knowledge, and master terminology and principles important to an understanding of the human body.

EMT Refresher - This course is designed for the Missouri-licensed EMT pursuing re-licensure, applicants pursuing remediation for initial licensure, or applicants attempting the National Registry re-entry process.  This EMT Basic Refresher Course is designed to meet the requirements of the DOT and National Registry standards.  Student must attend specific dates in the current EMT Basic program.

AHA BLS Instructor - The BLS Instructor Course is a program designed to prepare American Heart Association (AHA) instructors to disseminate the science, skills, and philosophy of resuscitation programs to participants enrolled in AHA courses. Upon successful completion of this course, Instructors will be able to instruct all AHA BLS courses: Healthcare Provider CPR, Heartsaver CPR/AED, Family & Friends CPR, CPR in Schools, First Aid, & Pediatric First Aid.
